a Stewie hoodie... i wanted to hate it cause i knew it was from Hot Topic... but damn, it's just friggin cool. also got a $25 best buy gift card and a $25 blockbuster gift card

not a WHOLE lot of difference, but MSN groups had a lot to do with that... but i gotta be honest, best part of the whole cam is the screen.

Where do I begin on our Christmas this year?
I'll start off by saying this was one of the absolute best Christmases ever.
First off, everyone had a great time getting together. Lots of great food, talking, etc. We even played Scene It? after everyone got a cosmopolitan or two down. It was quite interesting.
Somehow, my aunt managed to severely twist her ankle on the way out to her vehicle the night before last. It swelled up to 3 times its normal size, and looked like a bloodclot. It got better though.
Something always happens at our Christmas family gatherings.
One year, my uncle managed to fall backwards in his chair in the kitchen. We've still now figured out what caused that.
Then, one of my other aunts fell through a glass coffee table. She went to sit on it, and it just gave way and she ended up on the floor inside it with her knees at her face. She's of thin build, so it wasn't because of her weight, if that's what any of you are thinking. [img]wink.gif[/img] Luckily, neither of these people were hurt.
It's tradition, I guess. Can't wait to see what happens next year. [img]redface.gif[/img]

Shaun of the Dead and Collateral are <u>amazing</u>. Shaun had me laughing (and horrified) and Cruise as Vincent is one of the most badass film characters in mind.
I'm highly looking forward to watching all of these numerous times, since I love them all so much.

sweet haul, daj! i think you've finally taken my "most spoiled bastard of a boardmember" award from me!
i was actually kinda disappointed at the lack of DVDs... had about 10 on my list i think, only got one of 'em that i actually asked for. plus, usually my dad throws me a c-note to go buy whatever the hell i want with, along with a gift card to best buy or some place that i shop for clothes at. no such luck this year.
i should mention that the best buy gift card i did get was from an aunt out of state who, as i recall, hasn't sent me anything... ummm... ever?
we sent all the kids down there gifts, maybe it'll give all my relatives down in Florida an idea or two...

I don't really celebrate Christmas, so I never expect to receive anything (don't buy gifts for anyone else either - don't like feeling "obligated" to buy something - I buy enough crap for them throughout the year).
My sisters usually end up getting something for me, and this year was no different.
Here's what one sister got me - a Fisher Space Pen:
While it is a cool gift, this particular sister bought me the EXACT SAME PEN two years ago! I wasn't sure if this one was supposed to be a joke or if she really forgot. I have a sneaking suspicion that she is re-gifting these things. [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]
